  • Let me start by saying the only redeeming quality about this place is the food which is atypical bar food at best. Nothing exceptional. To start with the service is awful, specially with a young woman who waited on us, the check says her name is Max, but I'm not sure if that's the case, in any case if you get this young lady, ask for someone else. She hardly came by and there was hardly anyone there tonight on a Sunday evening. Anyway, this evening as we checked out w two other couples we did the waitress the favor of writing down the totals to split among three cards. We get our checks back with two cards with incorrect amounts. I was overcharged by 60 dollars, considering we wrote out the totals we were shocked. We had her come by to fix it and she still couldn't get it right. Apparently according to one friend this happens a lot here. The manager made excuses for her, but I now have two charges pending on my account, we'll see if they stay as I asked for receipts showing voided transactions which they couldn't provide. This surprises me because I used to wait tables and providing a voided transaction isn't hard to do, mind you this was 15 years ago... You would think technology gets better. This place is a joke and the waitress clearly doesn't care to do her job. I would understand a mix up if you are slammed, but when there's not a lot of people in the place and you make these mistakes you clearly just don't give a crap. You have one job to do, do it well. UPDATE: Three Days later and the extra transaction is still on my account. Working with my bank to resolve this since BAR can't do their due diligence to correct their staff's mistake.
