My friend and I came by here one rainy Friday evening for dinner. While waiting to be seated, we decided to split a hurricane. The hurricane was very tasty and strong, I definitely recommend it. For dinner, we ordered the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, and the pork tenderloin. We also had the bourbon ball and beignets with sorbet for dessert. We were told by our waiter that the food at NOLA is comparable to New Orleans' food with a touch of Pittsburgh, and were expecting mediocre food but everything was absolutely delicious and brought back fond memories of my trip to New Orleans. Service was great as well and the waitstaff was superb. NOLA is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh and I am looking forward to returning soon.
