I agree with so many other tenants. We've been here going on 6 years now and my family was in love with the Savannah apartments, but the change in ownership to Milan has been absolutely awful. They got rid of all of the great staff and maintenance people who really made this place feel like home and hired a bunch of incompetent and unfriendly people. Maintenance requests used to be responded to very promptly, now the last time we needed a few things fixed it took a month for someone to get over here and when they did they flooded our bathroom and didn't have the equipment to fix most of the other issues. They have jacked up the rent and utilities prices because they are doing unnecessary remodeling of our clubhouse and certain apartments. Construction starts as early as 6:30 am 5-6 days per week directly outside of our bedroom windows and wakes up the entire area (this includes my five-year-old). As of now, we pay more in rent than we ever did before with absolutely no amenities whatsoever for goodness knows how long. So we're paying much more for less. They have long since taken away the resident parties, coffee, and snacks and other perks that there once were. The new staff barely acknowledges you when they see you which is way different from the old staff who were always friendly and greeted us all by name. The gates are consistently left open at all times of the night because they are either broken or left open for construction workers. We will not be renewing our lease next year, especially because I anticipate another huge rent hike to continue to pay for their needless remodeling in order to attract higher paying renters. Don't fall for it. This used to be a wonderful place that we would even brag about to friends and family. It has done a complete 180 now. Thanks R.W. Selby.
