I LOVE watching my games at the cosmo because they have so many more (and better) options than what other hotels have to offer. At hotels like Venetian/Palazzo, unless you book seats at Legasse's stadium), you're pretty much stuck sitting cinema style next to chain smokers watching your game on a series of tiny screens far away.
Cosmo has several viewing areas and this one is my favorite, provided that they play your game on the big screen. I believe it's first come, first serve like any sports bar, so you need to get there early to request any screen to play the game you're interested in. If you get your game on the big screen, then the sound is played for your game too.
Seats are comfy and aplenty and you kind of get your own lounge area if you sit in the open booths. If you come solo or in a small group, there are several swivel chairs available too.
The food and drink menu are pretty short, but sufficient. We came in on an early Sunday morning when breakfast was still being served, and I would say no-go on the beef hash and A-OK on the soft-boiled egg dish.
