  • I can't put into words what The Duce is. They have three bars scattered around a large warehouse-like compound. Upon walking in, I perused their open space with a shop, bleachers, ping pong tables, boxing ring (used only for events like a wedding), and the trailer outside that serves food. I sat outside, which is actually covered. It was not packed at all on a Friday night. I had a conversation with the couple next to me and our bartender Jake for over an hour. Jake made me a couple of drinks, a strawberry lemonade that had a lot of strawberry pieces in it. He also made me something like a greyhound. Both drinks were made with minimalist and fresh ingredients and serve in mason jars. The Duce is a fun place for all ages actually and very reminiscent of some New South bars (think Nashville). Definitely come here with friends when you're in town.
