  • Midwood Guitar Studio just opened. It's gorgeous. The exposed brick was kept on all walls too. This studio carries boutique guitars and basses as well as amps. They also built a bar, of sorts, to sit at, hang and watch tv. They don't have a liquor license or anything so it's not that type of bar. These guitars are stunning pieces of craftsmanship. They are all brands neither I, nor my husband who plays guitar, have seen before. We spoke with the owner, Douglas if I recall correctly, and he told us where they were all made and how he came across them. They come from WA and TN and everywhere in between. This is not Sam Ash. These are all special, handmade guitars which are about $3,000.00 or more. There is also a room behind the register that you can play the guitars in and it's a nice little jam room. Go visit, ogle at the beauties and spend some money in Plaza Midwood.
