Not as nice as the Food City down on Southern. An off-meat smell greets you at the entrance. Definitely caters to a lower end Latino clientele. Not much breadth to selections, reinforcing the low-end vibe. Seems pricey on some staples (such as peanut butter) and definitely lacks family-size packages I'm used to seeing at other stores. Not much money put on decor. Mostly patronize it because I just moved in nearby and it beats hauling groceries on public transportation. To get some things I can't live without, I have to travel to shop for greater selection.
