I recently went to Shuhei for a small event and we utilized their party room. It has been several years since my last visit to the restaurant. I thought everything was very good. We had about 8 dishes that came out one after another. The grand finale was when they brought out about 8 platters of sushi and rolls for our two tables. To me, the cuts of fish were generous in size and everything seemed fresh to me. (Now understand I'm not a sushi expert). Another dish that was great was a large kettle of a beef soup- like stew that is served with a small bowl of rice on the side. It was quite tasty and per a co-worker who lived in Japan for several years was very authentic.
I can see going here again in the future.
