$17 later, a very satisfied tastebud!
Let me just start off saying that I searched this place when I was missing France and the french pastries. Having been all around France and eating their foods has ruined all pastries in Canada for me.
I was hoping to get the almond croissant as it was mentioned by many to try it. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance as by 2pm it was all sold out!
What I got
-chocolate almond crossant 4/5. I think they burnt that batch because all of them were brownish on the top so there was no avoiding a kinda burnt one. Regardless the parts that weren't burnt was delicious! Minus one point for being burnt. Otherwise it had potential to be perfect!
-Croque monsieur 5/5. Let me tell you, this has become my new ham and cheese sandwich. It would be even better if they heated up for you but regardless it was still amazing!
-apple turnover 3/5. It was meh, more dough than apples
-pistachio macaron. 2/5. it doesn't compare to Laduree and was unfortunately a letdown
Overall I would come back again for the almond croissant, chocolate almond croissant and croque monsieur. Maybe i'll even try the quiches!
