I've been pretty active all my life, and though work has been more busy in the last few years, I still do yoga 2-3 times a week and play hockey once a week. I also eat really healthy (essentially paleo) and have been maintaining my weight consistently at about 155lbs despite the activity.
I started working with Jess about 6 months ago and I can't believe the results! I've gained 10lbs so far (with over 2lbs of fat lost, not intentional for me, so up 12lbs of muscle). The difference that he makes is that he sits down with you and aligns the foods that you need to be eating with your goals. For me this meant increasing fats and modifying carbs and protein from where my daily nutrition was. He's a stickler on nutrition but you can see his passion for making the machine (the body) do what it needs to do to produce results. And here's no doubt, he's getting me results. I'm amazed ad how fast I noticed the change and joke with him about how I'm pissed that I have to buy new clothes.
On top of that, I've always hated going to the gym. I'm in pretty decent shape and just don't like the whole experience. I'm finally excited to go work out. The way he explains what we're doing helps me understand the why, which to me is super important and makes me want to come back for more! I've sent a couple friends here and they already love the results! You won't regret spending your time here improving your health!
