  • Update: just to avoid confusion, the name Marco to avoid is the server, not the head Maitre'd (this guy is very nice)... Normally I would give this 5 stars but last Friday was terrible, and I don't mean the food, it was the service from this one server. I would say 2 words "AVOID MARCO", that's right, this douchebag is probably one of the worst server we have ever encountered (he was serving in the back for large parties I guess so just wanted to make sure in case there is another Marco there). We came here to celebrate my birthday, if it wasn't for the company and great food, I would have probably not come back at all. I would definitely come back because this is one of my favorite restaurant but next time I will make sure we don't get this rude server's table. Let me highlight some of the douchebag Marco's rudeness: 1. I ordered a bottle of wine to celebrate my b-day, typically when a server brings the wine, he or she will present the wine and open it so that we can taste it. No, he just put the bottle of wine in front of me and left and said "Here..." and walked away. My friends with me are like, what's up with that...He came back, and rudely asked me "Do you want me to open that?" I just wanted to say "Yes open it you douche :-)" but I didn't, it was my b-day and I don't want to spoil everyone's dinner. Wait, not done yet, after he opened the wine, he just laid down cork in front of me and then walked away again. I mean really?? didn't even bother asking if I wanted to taste it first grrrr. So I proceeded to pour the wine to my friends and then he saw me and asked "Do you want me to pour it?". Really, are you kidding me?? I mean c'mon, tell me this guy is not a douche?! 2. So my wife asked me if they're doing the summer feast special, which I'm not sure, so I begin to ask douchebag Marco and he explained that it was for everyone and that I didn't have to remind him also he asked me "So do you have any questions??". That minute, I almost was going to really punch this guy, how rude, it's like I don't have the right to ask question. 3. So we finished our food, and we gathered to take some pictures. My wife was taking the picture and we told her to ask any server. Unfortunately, douchebag Marco walked in carrying just a tray with empty drinks that he just cleaned up on another table...my wife politely asked him if he could take our picture, you know what he said?? "Why don't you take some pictures and I will come back.." What the F!@#...seriously, he couldn't just set down the drinks for a sec and take the picture? I hope the manager can read this, because this douchebag "MARCO" needs to go back to server training and learn some manners and etiquette and how to serve and respect the customers. Next time you go to Fogo, 2 words "AVOID MARCO" a.k.a douchebag
