| - Their rooms are very basic and outdated for the most part, compared to all the upgades happening left and right. Used to love staying here 5-10 years ago. Hasn't aged well, remodeled well, and with the hoards of crappy shitty people from all walks of life thrashing this once prestigious city, you need to remodel and blow up da place quite frequently to not look like ass. Give toursists 6 months theyll make the Wynn look like circus-circus.
Ok, if your a pool person, this (and treasure island) have got to be, by FAR the shittiest pools in vegas. nevada. Hell the whole country. Think motel 6 (then divide by two you have motel 3)
Trivia: which props do NOT have a buffet on the strip? Answer: Ballys, Venetian/Palazzo, and NYNY.
Casino has some life and very scrambled. hate that they tore down old high-limit room; now its more "high-tech" looking and cant seem to ever win anymore. Used to have this garden-like high limit room that was quaint and cool. Now it sucks.
Best part is the food choices. They have casual fast food like a diner upstairs right next to the arcade, pizza and a deli near the cool cobblestone walk path, as well as other quick bites. Mexcian restaurant is quite good (forgot name) oh, Gonzalez Y Gonzalez there u go.
Arcade is so-so...usual ripoff rigged low ticket-giving games, and shitty prizes. They dont have good maintenace on a lot of games, and a lot are outdated big time.
Seems whichever room I get, always hear the stupid roller coaster rumbling and rattling through the night. Buyer B-Ware.
Il fornaio has awesome pizzas, and the cafe immediately to the left which is little fornaio has the best breakfast value and quick meal this side of McD's. They make grilled cheese toast, or with a croissant, with ham or without. Their ham always smells like ass so I order cheese only. Free pitchers of tap water too.
Check-in is a pain in the ass unless you VIP, but nothing compared to Caesars.
Treated in laws to zumanity show, they were disturbed yet impressed.
America is worst restuarant here, gallaghers steakhouse good but very expensive, and to be honest, you can pick a better rib-eye at costco than the ones they serve here.
They have a nice area with fast food type shit like pizza and deli sandwiches.
Chis or whatever the chinese place is aint all that...tried once very forgetable, panda express might even battle with it so save your money here at least.
Stick to il fornaio for bfast, lunch, and hit the mex for dinner and cocktailz.
Music pumpin in the casino with blackjack pole dancers sporadically.
