  • This location is not bad even though the equipment is a bit dated. I wish the dumbbell area was a lot bigger however. The people who go here generally seem nice and respectable. The worst thing about this location is the staff. I don't know about the whole staff but definitely the weekend crew. They will get really mad when people don't leave by 7pm, which is when they close on the weekends. They resort to very rude tactics like turning off the lights in the showers, not flash them but turn them off entirely. I once asked for a towel 10 mins before 7 from this brunette girl that seems to always work on the weekends. She gave me a lecture and hard time just for that. At the end of it, I showered and left when there were still half a dozen people in the change room. Another time I went, the same girl was working. As my friend and I were getting changed and talking in the change room, she stood by the change room entrance and told us to shut up and take our conversation outside because they're closed now. When we left the change room she stopped us to lecture us that the gym is closed and that "she didn't get paid past". I looked at the time and it was 7:08pm. Next time I'll throw a toonie at her for her time.
