At first glance this place is a) wayyy over-priced b) touristy to the max and c) children, way too many children. All these facts are true. Against my better judgement, I very unfortunately made my way on a Saturday, in April before a Jays season opener with friends from out-of-town. The worst... SO MANY CHILDREN and families in Blue Jays paraphernalia.... And then you make it to "The Dangerous Lagoon." And the world seems like a better place. A moving sidewalk (the longest of it's kind in North America) will take through a tunnel and a sudden calm will take over. A sand tiger shark will swim overhead. A stingray will glide by you.
The most magical part of the day were the jellyfish. Just captivating.
Definitely get your tickets online in-advance and ideally get there real early or real late.
