What a great place to eat in vegas. You get to listen to the live performances while enjoying a fine italian bistro/fusion style dinner. We ate an early dinner, around 5:15pm (we had a show at 7), and there was no wait. In fact, it was pretty much empty except for a few diners. Here's what we had for dinner:
1) Caeser salad (split): Pricey and small, but it was good. Wolfgang sure knows how to pick out his cheeses. The sliced parm on the salad was fantastic. My gf usually doesn't like cheese and even she thought it was very tasty.
2) Pepporoni pizza: Pretty decent pizza. Not the best I've ever had, but it was good. Crust was baked thin and crispy, sauce wasn't overwhelming, pepporoni was tasty, and the sliced tomatoes were a nice touch.
3) Chocolate Souffle: This wasn't very good. Though it only took 15 minutes to make, this quick rise souffle was waaay overcooked. The vanilla bean sauce was good, but the souffle tasted like a chocalate cupcake.
4) Pitcher of sangria: Probably one of the best sangria's I've ever had...it was REALLY refreshing after a day of vegas. The amount of sangria in the pitcher is perfect for two people. The pitcher set me back $25, but this IS vegas afterall. Filled about 6 wineglasses so it's actually not a bad deal.
*) Almost forgot to mention that they have a very tasty bread. Loved the chewy texture.
I had a great experience here and will definitely return. There's just something about sitting and eating under the venetian blue sky that soothes the mind. I'd recommend the cafe sitting over the indoor restaurant. While it looked nice inside, it didn't feel romantic.
If it wasn't for the souffle, this place would've recieved 5 stars.
