My review is being filtered by Yelp's software, so I'm going to try this again because gosh-darn-it- this business rocks and deserves some praise. In my first review I indicated that I was not a patient- which is true- but I AM A CUSTOMER ON THE RETAIL END OF THE BUSINESS.
This review is over-due and 5 stars was well-deserved by the amazing staff and doctor-owner here.
The doctor and team at Eyeopia were all exceptionally patient and friendly with me as I went through the long process of finding the perfect pair of eye wear. The business model is a little different- but if you are open to the approach- you won't be disappointed.
Here's how it works: Make an appointment. You sit down. They talk to you- get to know you and what you are looking for. Then they start bringing you frames and you start trying them on. You can still walk around the store mindlessly looking for the right frames- but let's face it- none of us know what we are looking for until it is on our face. My partner and I went through the process together about 1 year ago.
No adjustments needed for my partner. I had issues with the lens material and finding a material that was compatible with my vision. They swapped the lenses out twice- with no hassle and no additional charge. By the end, I was asking if I could pay more- and they kept saying no.
Perhaps the frames here are more expensive than other discount offerings- but they deliver on carrying beautiful, well-made frames (I get compliments at least 2-3 times a week) and service.
Highly recommended.
