  • I have been a member for two years, and the condition and maintenance of the pools in the last year is so much better than it was in the first year. There are rarely closings or malfunctions of the pool equipment these days. In addition, the staff are extremely nice, there is plenty of hot water and good pressure in the showers, and the water aerobics instructor is very good. When I swim in the large (non-therapy) pool, I have never had to share a lane. It is family friendly-- I sometimes bring my 13 year old boy. I like the old fashioned nature of the building and I have fond memories of when it was the old YMCA and went to parent-infant swim classes. It is much more convenient for me than any other pool, and I appreciate the easy parking and the ability to swim every day, with many hourly options.
