  • Disappointed. These guys have the potential to be great, but instead decide to shoot themselves in their foot. Don't be fooled by the aesthetic website and great pricing, because it is in fact "too good to be true". I order (2) pairs of Pendlay HD Bumper Plates through MDUSA on 12/28 with the attraction of free shipping and the very competitive pricing. At this point there were no initial indications that there would be delays in my order. My credit card was promptly charged that day. A few days passed, checked the website to see my order status as "Processing". A few days of order back logs after the holidays is completely understandable, I simply requested an expected shipping date. MDUSA actually got back to me THAT day, I was impressed with the customer service speed (at the time), and told me my order would be shipped at the end of the week or beginning of next. I patiently waited the requested time. I followed up with another e-mail on Friday 1/8 asking for order updates and how I was pretty disappointed at the pace things were moving. No answer. I followed back up today 1/11 stating that if I do not get correspondence back within 24 hours I will cancel my order. I was called a few hours after and told my "order is back ordered and won't be received until the end of the month or beginning of next". TL:DR 2 weeks after placement of my simple order I was told my items are now back ordered and would receive them for a "few more" weeks. We are talking 4 bumper plates, from a "reputable equipment supplier", I don't know how much more simple it could be. What is really unappreciated is the intentional information that was withheld in a day and age where good customer service is a call away. Clearly they don't hold much stock in their warehouse either. I cancelled my order immediately and will spend my money elsewhere, where customers are appreciated and can ship orders in a timely manner. Huge potential, but MDUSA has proven to be a huge flop... Don't spend your money here. Spend the extra on shipping.
