| - I apologize that I have to give 1 star. I am a positive thinking person, however I wish I would have read a review prior to spending a dime at this location. I stayed there 10/18/17. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone especially a woman traveling alone. The advertising photos do not reflect the truth of this location and the company is not being transparent about the reality of Inn Suites Hotel Tempe/Phoenix Airport property. I drove down from Sedona and wanted to rest before my morning flight, take a relaxing bath and park my car at the hotel during the trip. I thought I could do all these things at this hotel however NONE of those intentions materialized.
I pulled into the hotel parking area and saw the signs "the hotel was not responsible for any damage or incidents that happened to cars parked there." Based on what I saw, I didn't feel it was the best location to park my car for any length of time (ended up parking at Sky Harbor for the trip.) That meant I had to deal with driving from the hotel to the airport in the morning with no GPS, which was unplanned along with paying for parking at Sky Harbor + the hotel night at a hotel where I thought I could safely park my car.
I was checked in by a very young kind woman. I stayed on the east side of the building, with a view of a caged gutted tennis court that looked unsafe and sketchy. The room was immaculate however there was an adjoining room separated by a very thin flimsy wooden door. The bathroom had loud blaring fluorescent lights, a loud fan and the bathtub drain stop did not work. I ended up taking a shower instead. It was not a relaxing environment or room.
At about 10pm, some loud drunk men arrived next door in the adjoining room. They were rowdy, yelling and kept trying to open the flimsy door that separated our rooms. They then started slamming on the door. I called concierge and she said she would call me back if she had a room I could move to. I absolutely did not feel safe or comfortable. At 10:45 I didn't hear anything back from her. I looked online for a corporate number number and called and got a female reservations rep who said "if you do not feel safe you should definitely call the police". I really had not planned to involve the Tempe Police Department with my vacation. I did not call them, I felt this was an issue the hotel should address, not TPD.
I did not feel that I could go to sleep knowing the rowdy drunk guys may be coming back to party. I never heard anything from the front desk and I called again to see if there was another room I could relocate to. The front desk girl told me they had relocated the drunk guys and a different party would be staying in the room. It would have been helpful to receive a call confirming the change. The new guests turned out to be a couple, much more sedate, however I could hear everything. 6AM in the morning I got a laugh as they blasted "Lady Marmalade. Voulez Vous Couchez Avec Moi" and the guy was yelling the song while taking a shower. I'd rather hear that than the drunk guys. The fact is though, it was really loud, I could hear everything next door, I had no sleep, I ended up parking my car at Sky Harbor, and I didn't get a relaxing bath. Really disappointed. Especially as I have stayed at so many other hotels at lower rates with much better service and accommodations. It was a complete waste of money. I will not return.

attempted break in
someone tried to break in to room at 0230am
had to call security but nobody got back to me.
manager of hotel apologised and said it had happened before !!!!
He then offered us 20dollars as a refund as if that makes it ok ?????
Only plus point was excellent breakfast.
Room Tip: do not stay in rooms at back of hotel
