| - Everyone here has been amazing during our two visits within less than a week. We got to see two nurse practitioners and they were both very nice, attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. Even though my son got a final diagnosis of HFMD by his pediatrician today, I still felt like we had great experiences here when my son needed medical care when his pediatrician's office didn't have any openings and were closed.
HFMD is understandably something that was overlooked by the nurse practitioner the first visit, because his symptoms were relevant to a Viral throat infection after strep, flu, and mono were ruled out. When we came over the weekend because his throat got worse and red dots began to present on his hands and feet, the nurse practitioner then noticed his throat was so swollen. She gave him a shot of cortisone and breathing treatment right away. I didn't even realize my son's airway and breathing was affected until this visit. All he was saying was he couldn't speak because his throat hurt so much. After this treatment, he seemed to be back to normal.
The MAs and receptionists here were also great. They put up with my bug-a-boo multiple calls to verify orders, listen to my concerns, deliver and receive messages to the nurse practitioners regarding my many concerns. I love my kids' pediatrician office, but this gives me comfort knowing I can come here when the pediatrician is fully booked or on weekends and after hours.
