| - The fella and I stopped in after a progressive beer Saturday that included OMB and Sugar Creek, and even though Three Spirits was just down the road, the vibe couldn't have been more different. We got there around 5 p.m., and there were maybe two other small groups in the tap room. The place is huge, so it felt really empty and quiet.
Our bartender was really nice and helpful, and the fella got a flight. (I was driving, so just water for me.) Sadly, he wasn't too impressed with any of the offerings. His general outlook is that you at least have to be able to do an IPA well, and this one didn't live up to his standards. It doesn't help that Three Spirits is so close to some other awesome breweries that're pretty spectacular, and it's hard not to compare it to them.
As one of the new kids on the block, I hope they can continue to get even better, but for now, we'll stick with some of the other breweries in town.
