DON'T BUY FURNITURE AT LIVING SPACES. They don't stand behind their product. As soon as we got our sofa delivered, ( in August 2016) the two pieces did not match up. After lots of phone calls, they finally fixed it. But it was a fiasco because they had to take the whole sofa out of the house and when they returned it, they forgot one of the two pieces. What was I supposed to do with half a couch??? Now, our sectional sofa is less than two years old. We don't have children in our house and I assure you that no one has jumped on it or done anything to break it and yet when we returned from a vacation, our sofa sounds like it's cracking very loud when you sit on it. It's bad, really bad. I was unable to post the video we took of the sound on this post.
I went to the store where we purchased it and was told I had to call the warranty company. We paid for an extended warranty and yet they said that since I didn't call within ten days of noticing the problem, there's nothing they can do about it. I didn't call immediately because I was hoping the problem would revolve itself. But it didn't. The. I told them it was not wearing well and had pills and collapsed cushions. I knew they wanted to "catch me" with that ten day thing again but seriously it is clearly an issue that has evolved over time. You don't just wake up one day and say....Hey, on this day, my cushioned has collapsed and aren't wearing well. It's a process. When I heard that ridiculous 10 day policy of theirs, I insisted on talking to a supervisor. I was put on hold for about five minutes when it hung up on me. I went online to create a formal complaint using the email address that was written on my warranty receipt.the email address or website address for complaints doesn't go anywhere. Instead it goes to some weird place online. I'm done. I have never had a sofa fall apart in less than two years. We paid good money for it. Social media......do your job! Boycott Living Spaces!
