| - Me and this Loblaw's are pretty decent acquaintances - we don't hang out much, but we get along just fine when we do. He's a solid guy.
As far as I can tell, it's a pretty run-of-the-mill Loblaws, and has everything you'd expect of it product/service-wise - fresh, frozen, deli, bakery etc etc. (Plus the PC Financial booth downstairs). It's pretty big, but is laid out reasonably well and apart from the produce section it's easy to navigate with a cart; the placement of some products can be hard to find at times if they're not easily categorised, though.
Produce is okay - not spectacular or cheap, or a huge variety, but you can get the staples you need without breaking the bank too badly. They've a decent selection of vegetarian/vegan products and health/alternative foods section too. There's an odd mix of specialty Asian/Indian grocery products, and a large kosher aisle. Sales and specials can be a bit random, but are often good offers.
Bonus points for a coffee/chocolate shop, smallish LCBO, news stand, & dry cleaners downstairs, and the Joe Fresh next door! I'm not the type who needs a grand amount of food, or who usually does all her shopping in one place, but as a solo person I can get by with the help of this friend.
