  • I guess I'm not an expert on Persian food, but I really enjoy eating at the Persian Room! The atmosphere is great, the food is excellent and the portions are incredibly huge. I don't remember the names of the dishes, but the Koobideh is one of my favorites - it's ground beef with onions and herbs mixed in. Very, very tasty and not too expensive. If I have any complaints it's the unevenness of the wait staff. Some of the waiters/waitresses are fantastic, but a number of them are kind of surly and unpleasant. However, we've always received our food in a timely manner and haven't ever had any serious issues. There's rarely a wait which is a huge plus on Friday or Saturday night in North Scottsdale.
