okay, so to be honest, i didn't watch the 3D movie when i went here. maybe it is so awesome that it would have tipped the scales in favor of 3 stars.
m&m mars has some smart marketing folks-- i wanted to go here b/c i saw all these folks walking around vegas with cute yellow shopping bags with m&m pictures on them. having lived 4 years in hershey, PA, i wanted to see if this place matched up to the sweetest place on earth.
sadly, all i got out of it was that it's basically a big store with tons of m&m themed paraphernalia that you can buy for your friends and family (nothing wrong with that, honestly). however, i was under the impression that it might approximate the experience you get at hershey's simulated chocolate factory store -- perhaps some information on the story of m&m's, some historical pieces, videos on how m&ms are made...oh well.
a must only if you want to sugar load the kids and make them insanely happy with $10 pins with their names on them or surprise your m&m's loving relatives at christmas with shower poufs with m&m characters on the back of them.
