  • Dr. Nguyen isn't only a great dentist, but I'm convinced he's also a powerful wizard. I was a complete nervous wreck before going in for my root canal today as I've had horrible dental experiences in the past. I explained this to Dr. Nguyen and said "Don't worry. I'll numb you real good and you won't feel anything" So, he proceeds to put the numbing paste on my gums with a cotton swab. A little while later he comes back with the first needle and says "Don't look. Just a little pinch here" What I actually felt was barely anything at all. As if the very tip of the needle just barely grazed my gums. I was bracing for the pinch to come and he said "That's it. You won't feel anything else" I said "That's the only shot I'm getting?" He laughed and said "No, I'll give you more, you just won't feel them" and he was right. I felt nothing from that point on. The root canal and 3 fillings went very well. I had no pain at all. I was so relieved that I didn't even feel any discomfort, let alone pain. Dr. Nguyen has just become my life long dentist. And his staff is awesome too. Very helpful and informative.
