| - Worst experience from a EMERGENCY HOSPITAL. My cat was suffering from dehydration from diabetes late at night when i brought her in. Her eyes were turning white as if she could die any minute. The doctor brought her in and ran a couple of tests, then proceeded to tell me she is in critical condition and could past away any moment if not treated immediately. Not only did they not bring back my cat or let me see her after multiple requests. They proceeded to drag time by telling me a bunch of non sense about the consequences if we do not pay and treat her. I listened to the vet speak a good 20 minutes until I told him I am not paying anything unless you let me see my cat. They brought her out and I could not resist seeing her die slowly.
The quote they gave me was very broad (4700 - 5700) which required me to pay a deposit right away. I told the doctor, "OK OK PLEASE SAVE HER I WILL PAY FOR IT, PLEASE TAKE HER WITH YOU RIGHT AWAY SHE IS DYING." Not only did he not take her immediately, he said, "Ok we will treat her right away my assistant will come pick her up." If she is in such crucial shape why didn't the he take her with him but have me wait a good 5 minutes before his assistant come to pick up.
They then requested me to pay half the balance and would notify me if anything. I went home in hopes she will be fine but got 2 phone calls early in the morning. The first call I got, they told me she was doing fine and she even started to stand up and walk. Then an hour later, I got the news her heart and lungs were causing failure due to the medication she is given. They told me that it would be really difficult to cure both at the same time as they counter each other so she might not make it.
Upon hearing the news I told the hospital I am on my way, and will be there in 30 minutes. During the phone call they were trying to milk more money from me telling me she could die anytime, would you like us to give her CPU if she does have trouble? I was not buying any of this BS and told them, "No there is no point in doing anything if she is going to die any moment."
When I got there they didn't let me see my cat immediately but brought in another vet to speak a good 30 minutes of BS trying to make me pay a large sum to lengthen her life, but at the same time they couldn't guarantee anything. I was not buying their sh"t anymore. She is dying and they are not letting me see her last bit. I told the vet I am not going to let my cat die in their hospital and need second opinion from my own vet before making a final decision. They spent another good 10 minutes before letting me see my cat and another 20 minutes before I can check my cat out to my vet.
In the end I brought my cat to my personal vet and they told me there is no point in paying anymore as no matter what they do, it is just making her suffer more. You might as well do what is best at the moment and put her down.
BEWARE OF THIS HOSPITAL THEIR MAIN CONCERN IS HOW TO MILK THE MOST MONEY OUT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AND NOT FOR YOUR PETS OWN GOOD.
