| - This place is what it is. A small Mexican food joint situated in the heart of Lawrenceville with great margaritas, beautifully fried tortilla chips, and awesome guacamole. The tacos are not bad! They taste sort of like the tacos over at Bakersfield, but these are much better IMO.
Whatever it is, it is an awesome place to start off a night out, especially if you can get seats outside in the back patio. The prices are very reasonable and the food is definitely tasty (not earth shattering mind blowing Mexican food), but it does the trick. Think savory Mexican food made fresh by the local gringo on santa ana boulevard in California who probably spent his days surfing in Baja, dated a Oaxacan senorita, and learned how to cook up some good classic tex mex that anyone would find delicious and even go back for more.
Fun atmosphere, delicious bites, great margaritas, good drink selection, overall awesome place to chill out before a night out in Pittsburgh's Williamsburg.
