In town with my wife for the week celebrating our 15th anniversary, so we are staying at the Venetian for the first time because of the celebrity chefs represented here. We wanted to try some on-property locations on our first night. We were immediately seated as there were many empty tables available. Our server (Shane) said that he would have someone else helping for training. Service was average.
The menu is a bit limited in my opinion, but there is a create-your-own option (Bar Burger) that has a lot of customizations. My wife had the Drive-Thru Burger with a side of fries. I ordered a Bar Burger on pretzel bun with provolone, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli, with a side of onion rings. My wife's burger was very salty, and the "fresh cut" fries were so salty that they were nearly inedible. my wife likened her burger to "a Steak & Shake burger." My burger was tasty, but the onions were on the bottom and made the bottom part of the bun disintegrate so that I had to eat half with a fork. The one thing that probably needed salt the most (onion rings) had none and there was none on the table. The garlic aioli was easily the highlight of my meal.
There was a table of four near us that was being very loud and disturbing. They ran one couple out of the restaurant, and we had to hurry through our meal because it was very annoying. The waiters continued to serve these people more alcohol. We told the hostess on the way out that she might want to consider not seating people back there until the obnoxious patrons left.
Seriously disappointed in this experience, as we've been looking forward to this trip and the opportunity to try the restaurants here for weeks. We expected better from a celebrity chef restaurant with $16 burgers. Unfortunately we will not be back on this trip or any other.
