  • Another great asian supermarket along the Forest Lawn area. It carries a wide variety of asian items, as well as fresh vegetables. Compared to it's competition Hong Kong International, I think this place is a bit more organized. I find it easier to find Japanese and Korean items, but I think HKI (thats right I abbreviated it! What?). We usually bounce back between this place and HKI in case they dont' have fresh veggies/fruits. The only thing I would caution is the meat they carry here. Settle down, it's not a mad cow warning, but some cuts are a lesser grade of meat so make sure you read the label. If' your looking into getting meat for stews, great, but I wouldn't' recommend looking for anything tender to BBQ with here.
