  • Let me start off by saying, I hate the dentist. HATE. Fear and loathe and despise. Until today. I had my first dental visit in years, and this was the office I used to go to almost a decade ago, so this was my first experience with Dr. Nelson and the new hygienists here. I'll start off with Rhonda, the loveliest receptionist on the planet. She is kind, energetic, helpful and caring, and started to put me at ease from the time I called to make the appointment. When I arrived this morning, she greeted me warmly, and gave me a quick tour that helped to further calm me and orient me with the surroundings. Mayra then did X-rays on me, and made sure that she explained what she was doing and helped to make the process as quick and easy as possible. I then had a cleaning done by Lexi, who is yet another gem in the office. She talked to me throughout the procedure, explaining what she was doing in clear terms so I felt comfortable with the lingo, but also just chatting with me, getting to know me and helping to get my mind off the anxiety I was feeling. She was just a delight! Then Mayra took be into the office, explaining to me that Dr. Nelson would be coming in to do a quick exam, after which both he and Mayra explained to me again in very clear terms the next steps we would be taking for my dental care. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nelson, Rhonda, Mayra and Lexi! 24 hours ago, I would have been happy to never see a dentist again...now I am (dare I say it) actually almost looking forward to my next visit! I cannot recommend all of these individuals and this practice highly enough!
