| - Beautiful Furniture. Unbelievably great service by Roman and the Molino team.
Spouse and I bought new home and only had a few weeks to get it organized and up to speed before we left town.
We needed furniture for our pool deck. We shopped on line on various sites, visited 3 local furniture makers and then went to Molino.
They make custom furniture so I was worried that I would not find anything we could purchase and have delivered before we had to leave town.
We wandered in, no pressure, just a comfortable greeting and an offer to help. Roman gave us a great breakdown about the company, the furniture, accessories, timelines, etc. This was a very important part of our experience. It gave us great comfort to know that the sales team was very knowledgeable and focused on service first, not pushing the sale.
After I told Roman what we were looking for; a unique table that could seat 8, Roman said we might not have to wait at all. He showed us a square counter height table. and a rectangular counter height table. We loved both. However, my wife was concerned about how we would stage the square table in the space we had planned. We told Roman we were going to go home and measure out the space to see if either of the tables would be a "fit".
In the end, after confirming that either table would work, my wife convinced me that we would be better off with a regular height table in the space. We could have opted at that moment for a very nice table we had liked at another local store or a beautiful dining table and chair set from an upscale store's online site.
However, because Roman had been so great and because we loved the furniture, we decided to to return to Molino to give the counter height tables another look and/or maybe see if Molino and Roman might have another option for us. We knew they could make one for us but we really did not want to wait.
When we approached Roman with our concerns regarding the counter height tables and waiting for new production, we never felt any pressure at all. He thanked us, offered to work with us to see how quickly they could turn an order and suggested that we look at a table they had on display outside, one that could seat 8 and was regular height. It was perfect, unique and seating 8, except it had a flaw. As we considered whether the flaw could be ameliorated or fixed, Roman suggested we meet with a stone craftsman whose shop sits near Molino's. He introduced me to the craftsman, persuaded him to turn the table quickly (3 days) and arranged for a delivery 3 days later in order to meet our schedule. They also made two new chairs and cushions for us within days (there were only 6 chairs with the original set.)
There were other good options for us when it came to choosing furniture. We did not have to choose Molino. We loved the quality but I think the service turned the tide for us. My wife and I have great respect for companies like Molino who train and support their team. Roman was outstanding throughout the process, from the beginning when we entered the store until he personally delivered the table and chairs and helped set them in place a week later. (It took a crew of 4 to deliver and set the table in place.)
My wife and I are very happy we stayed the course with Molino. Our granite table looks fantastic. In the years to come, I expect we will have many wonderful meals and great times with friends and family while seated at our Molino table.
