Every casino in North Las Vegas is a hole in the wall. Guess what? So's the Silver Nugget! The casino is small. The sportsbook is small. The bowling alley? Thag's small too. There's only one bar in the casino, but the bartenders are fast, and they like to make your drinks stiffer than average. They have one restaurant, but they were closed before midnight on a Friday night. Hey Silver Nugget, guess what? I WAS HUNGRY BEFORE MIDNIGHT!
The best part of the night was after we had a few rounds of drinks, we ended up in some room watching Lady Brandy and her band perform. She was performing all the blues classics, and when I say performing, GOOD LORD she was putting on a show! I felt like I was in Memphis or New Orleans at an ol juke joint with Lady Brandy performing. She was the best part of the casino. I wanted to stay and watch more, however since the restaurant CLOSES before midnight and I was hungry, I left. Lady Brandy and her band, along with the bartenders is why I like the Silver Nugget.
