(ALL ELSE FAILS)
Many of the other poor reviews aligned w our experience..
Went to Cosmo on busy Saturday night with family in from LA -we were starving, unfamiliar w the restaurants & after skimming the menus- seeing like 100+ people in line (and SITTING ON THE FLOOR)waiting to get in the buffet we settled here- (by settled I mean gave up here) same as others reviews said :"the hostess' were lifeless zombies who said its a 25min wait -you can sit at the counter it's faster(25 min was the faster option) then she repeated 2+ times in a snobby way " you can do take out" we were like take out what and walk around eating it?? Lol
We waited the 25- my brother inlaw & his girlfriend got a cocktail @ the burger/shake place @ put their name down for a table seeing who would seat us first.. This place sat us (burger place was supposed to call on the cell when table was ready & NEVER did-lmfao) so we sit @ the dim sum side(mexican side had more life to its side) where three very focussed dim sum makers bang out sheet pans of something wrapped in dough.
Menu : tacos 4.50-10.00 per taco ..
Noodles-1 fried rice w/out meat-
dim sum not on a cart-
$15 guac-..no free chips n salsa=($4 )
Like everyone says: carnitas taco was tastiest.. But @5.50 the other persons right- they had carnitas @ del taco which I could have easily had
8.88 "street" sandwich size of egg mcmuffin- & I'm not sure what "street" serves this but we sent it back based on =size+taste+price
Had $15 coctel de Cameron was no where near a coctel @ Mar y Tierra -had like 3-4 decent sized shrimps =Fifteen dollars..
Fresh chips where good Bcz we were starving
Mole fries where not crispy @ tasted like frozen fries.. Mole was heavy on the cinnamon & unappealing
Server was nice
$6+ for a coke
Bottom line: EAT BEFORE GOING TO THE COSMOPOLITAN OR ELSE!!!
