  • Earlier I reviewed Dr. Jones and rated him very high. He has an excellent patient dentist demeanor. Unfortunately since then I had a bad experience with Dr. Jones. I had a tooth that became severely abscessed and it took several visits to him to identify which tooth was really causing the problem. He said that it needed a root canal. He said that he would do it right then and there. Dr. Jones told me to call him if I had any issues; that he would come right out. The tooth became very infected again and I called his number on a Friday evening. The call went directly to his assistant, who returned my call within 30 minutes. He told me that Dr. Jones was not available for the entire weekend. He did, however, call in a prescription for both pain and antibiotics. Dr. Jones charged me for the root canal, which I discovered had not been done. He apologized for the error. He does not use a dental hygienist. He gives excellent novocaine injections and when he removed a molar crown, I couldn't tell if it was an upper or lower. He comes from Chandler to his Carefree office.
