  • Told I won a $1,000 bath remodel from a bridal show that was almost a year prior. I was thinking about getting my bathroom remodeled anyways, so we booked a consultation that was to come with a $60 restaurant.com gift card. In conversation at some point it came out that anyone who signed up got $1,000 off. It ended up still being really expensive, and we went with some other company that was around $2,000 cheaper than their estimate (which included the $1,000 off) Then I went to redeem the restaurant.com gift card... there's so many stipulations surrounding it that I'm not sure we're even going to use it. The whole thing from "winning" to this awful gift card seems scammy.
