If you are thinking of Century Link as an option for your internet service stay far away from them. Their service is terrible and I was constantly unable to get online at my home. I cancelled back in June and returned the modems I had. Today April 2017 I got a bill from a collection agency for the amount of the modem and about $14 remaining balance. I never received a final bill and they never gave me credit for the returned modems. After an hour of frustrating phone calls to their billing and customer service departments they found that indeed I had returned said modems and will credit accordingly. They gave no apologies and would not credit me the $14 as good will to their mistake. I paid the $14 and that showed up immediately on my account but their credit for the modem will take several days. Hmmmm??? Glad I am done with this company and will never consider it an option nor will I recommend it to anyone.
