  • I've worked with Queen City Lumber for now 16 years. These folks have the best quality lumber, service, skill, and knowledge. If you need unique trim profiles to match your older home - these guys will have it or make it. if you want straight tight grain quality treated deck lumber - Queen City Lumber is your source. For sub-par warped knotty ski shaped decking you'll need to go elsewhere. if you need a solid wood, crafted, mortised, pegged, intricate - bracket, corbel, door, trellis, arbor, or anything you can possibly describe and draw - they are the Michelangelo of fabrication shops. If you need choice quality grade framing material - Queen City Lumber is your source. Their framer series lumber is so good we often use it for our finish material! If you want barked and knotty or U- shaped you'll need to shop elsewhere. Need some advice or Q&A for a project - go to Queen City Lumber. I quote Web Hatley in reference to a recent shop fabrication order "These came out about $200 less than originally quoted." These guys gave us money back!
