| - One of the Indie Coffee Passport spots, this one is very much a neighbourhood cafe and in that it seems to succeed very well. It's tiny, and everyone squeezed in there seems to be a local, or at least well known to the barista.
I'm not from the area, and it's disconcerting each time I've been; I always feel a bit invisible and never really comfortable enough to stay so I order my beverage to go.
Also, note to Passport holders: they no longer offer Nutella Lattes on the Passport. I'd been looking forward to one the whole way to the cafe. Oh well.
On the other hand, the soy latte I had instead was really good. Rich, creamy, thick. And no extra charge on the passport for a milk alternative, which I really appreciate.
So, 2 stars for the atmosphere, 3 stars for the Latte, which bumps it up to a 3-star review.
