I noticed some friends blowing up Porchetta on my facebook feed so I decided to give it a try. I got the House Special. It's a very good sandwich. The sauces complimented the meat very nicely. There was the whole grain mustard and truffle sauce mix very nicely together and add a nice depth of flavor. The crackling which is like a salty pork rind gave the sandwich an interesting texture. The only problem was that I found the porchetta itself, albeit seasoned nicely and flavourful, to be a bit dry. Edible, but not pleasantly so. I was wishing that the main star of the dish would have been greater than all the other parts but it was the best done part of the sandwich and sadly it was not. Other than that, it was a pretty good sandwich.
