| - I previously gave a 5-star review for an employee helping me find my lost wallet while vacuming my car there. But this time, I have to say that I'm very dissatisfied with my recent experience with an oil change, which they were advertising for $19.99. The gentleman who checked me in did not discuss prices or packages with me but after entering my info into the computer, he said it was going to be $100 bucks!!! When I asked him to explain why, he went on to bullshit me about special cleaning detergent I needed etc, etc. I replied that I only needed an oil change as my car is brand new. So he removed the added cleaner, etc and told me he would call me in an hour when my car was finished. I walked over to the McDonald's across the street and waited. As I waited, I looked at my receipt and realized I was charged $42, not $20 as advertised! I immediately called them from the McDonald's to ask why I was charged $20 extra when I specially told him I only wanted the oil change. After getting no answers, I was transferred to a manager who explained to me that I needed to specifically tell him that I wanted the $19.99 oil change otherwise I would be given their upgraded package which included a car wash. That means I paid an extra $20 for a $7 car wash, which btw, I just did myself two days prior. Also, they never called me to tell me my car was ready, so 2 hours later, I finally called from McDonald's to find out if my car was ready. After being on hold for what seemed like hours, I was told they did not have my car and asked me if perhaps I called the wrong location! NO, I did not! I had to physically go there to find my car which was parked off to the side of the building. The manager apologized and gave me a $10 coupon for my next car wash. Really???? Thanks a lot. Never again.
