| - First off, I'm going to lead off with the fact that this is a GYM. Not a spa, not a fitness club, not an athletic club, it's a gym. I want a place where I can go, lose myself in my headphones and get a good, solid workout. This is the place to do that. Yeah, it doesn't have the fancy indoor track, heated pool, and juice bar with gluten free, non-fat, soy, bean sprout smoothies; it has weights, classes you can take, locker rooms, and a cardio area. With that being said, I'm giving this location 4 stars because I love the machines and the free weights and my girls love the daycare and the staff in the daycare. The only reason I'm leaving off a star is that when it switched from Golds to EoS, the staff changed dramatically and I really liked the old staff. Not saying the new staff is bad, just liked the vibe of the old staff.
The gym recently got new cable machines and free weights. I love their free weights because you can actually read them and know what you're picking up. Other gyms I've been to (including the other EoS) I would have to sit there and do the math to add up the weights on the dumbbells before each set. I don't use the cardio much but when I do, I never have a problem with anything.
Basically, keep it up EoS. I like the fact that we can weed out the uppity snobs who require their "gyms" to be decked out with amenities in which they will never use. I'll stick to working out here and getting sh*t done!
