  • Sorry but this place sucks. We went to see if someone we knew was working after going to the pool at the Downtown Grand next door. We probably stuck out like a sore thumb - two gay guys in a bar full of middle aged white trash men. The second we walked in the bartender gets on her megaphone and yells "wow these two boys who just walked in have shorts tighter than the girls in here". Which is fine, I get it, the theme of this place is supposed to have fun and make fun of people. But then after everyone turned and looked at us she didn't stop. She continued "look at them wearing muscle shirts with no muscle, you would think if you were going to go out in public looking like that you'd at least have some muscle". Mind you we just came back from the pool. It's all fine to make fun of what someone is wearing, but to tear into them for their personal appearance (and essentially being gay in front of a bar of straight men), sorry I'm not down for that. Then another bartender comes up and asks if we want a drink. I said 2 bud light. She said $12 and I only had $10 cash, didn't realize it was cash only. I wasn't trying to pay $6 for a bud light after being torn apart for how I look. So we left. Then I hear them yelling as we left about us, making fun of us yet again. Made us both really turned off and offended as we walked away. Never again will I go there.
