I had pre-read about the Biltmore before I showed up and stayed at this historic masterpiece. There is so much to like about this place that you would be awestruck in when you visit the grounds. It being a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architectural masterpiece is a reason alone to come stay in this landmark.
The gardens and grounds of the Biltmore Waldorf Astoria were well manicured with the fountains and statues sprinkled throughout the grounds.
The highlight of my stay here was the free history tour that was 90 minutes. The on site historian gave an exclusive history lesson on how the Biltmore came to be. He went into a lot of detail about how Wrigley yes the chewing gum Gent, bought the Biltmore during the great depression because they had ran out of money. Then it makes sense that the Wrigley mansion is right across the street from the Waldorf Astoria hotel. The historian also told us details about all the statues the architectural work and a little history on Hilton itself.
The location of this hotel is perfect! It's not too far from the airport and close enough to many gyms and it has a walking trail right outside of the grounds where you can walk upwards of 5 miles one way.
