Purchased a window for my truck that some jerk broke out and stole 1000$ in tools. I asked them the quality of glass does it meet or exceed oem. He stated it met and or exceeded oem specs. I purchased the glass for home to install it to find out it is much much thinner than the oem. The plastic glass retainers that hold the glass to the track rattle because it's so thin compared to oem. I measured it with calipers and the window was a good 2.5mm thinner than oem. Doesn't sound or seem lik much but when the window cradle pieces snap into the glass and it rattles that's sad. The holes are also slightly larger than oem slowing slop in the glass. You can lift the glass up when the window is rolled 1/3 up. The window doesn't seal because it is thinner than oem glass. Unfortunately had I known this I would have purchased oem glass, but being disabled and took their word for it I got taken. Junk yard oem glass in pristine condition = 85$. Their window new 90$. Should have ordered the one from salvage yard and had it in 3 days. But being the fact my window was broken out and the only thing holding it together was the window tint. So I couldn't take a chance on having my truck broken into again. Pretty ballsy. I had a viper alarm too with air horns. By the time I got out there they were gone. Since my deductible was 500, I had to pay for the window out of pocket unless I went to the stealership and got robbed again.
I'd give zero star but it's not an option! They were friendly staff and got it transfers over pretty quick, other than that the glass is crap. I'm sure if you slam the door even harder than normal the looseness of the glass in the cradle will cause it to move and shatter.
