Why haven't I tried Valozzi's sooner? Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday and it was relatively empty. It did slowly pick up, but not to the point where you couldn't walk in and get a table without a reservation. Once walking in, I couldn't help but notice how nice it was inside. Stone walls and warm colors. As one could guess from the looks of the outside, Valozzi's is a little fancy.
I don't quite remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it was a kind of a sampling of four different dishes for around $14. It came with their crab and corn chowder soup, caprese salad, gnocchi, and beef tenderloin. These selections change daily I believe. Though each sampling was small, together they made a great meal. The flavors were quite delicious and such variety of flavors meant my lunch would not be boring.
I'm a fan of a dish that offers a sampling of the menu. I will definitely return for lunch and most likely order the same thing!
