I went in there for a bad cold. They took my blood pressure reading 3 times. 172/120 was the 3rd readout. They told me to monitor it and go see a doctor if I had symptoms or it increased. I called my insurance on call nurse when I got home. She said go to the ER immediately. The ER doctor and the insurance nurse both asked why medpost didn't immediately send me to the ER with that high a blood pressure reading. They medpost nurse didn't tell me it was LIFE THREATENING at that level and 180 or above is a stroke waiting to happen. Good Question! Only one answer. THEY ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE!
