The ENTIRE staff (this means the doctors, too) should be required to take and pass classes on bedside manner/customer service. I've never been so unimpressed with a nursing staff as I've been since experiencing the cluster fuck that is Sunrise hospital. They have ZERO sense of urgency. Instead of saying "Let me find out for you", the answer is "I don't know", "I'm not allowed to know that", "You'll have to wait for your doctor/surgeon/etc. to tell you". Nobody is willing to actually contact or tell me who to contact in order to get the information I'm seeking. They can't even be bothered to respond to a call button being pressed by a patient! Instead, they sit around their station, talking about their personal lives. WTF!? The standard of care in this hospital is SO disappointing that I cannot believe these people are allowed to practice medicine. TOTAL FAIL. This is where the incompetent and lazy go to work in the medical field.
