  • I am writing this on behalf of my mother whom is 80 years old living alone and has been doing a great job for being self supported. She recently called Plumbing Masters after noticing a water on the floor which was a leak coming from her water heater. Plumber Masters came out, spent all day on the job, which should have only taken half the time or even less. Charge was $2400.00!! Later we had another plumber come to take a look at what had been done to see if this was a fair price for the job, he said it should not have taken the time it did and parts cost was conveniently not listed on the invoice and neither was time and hourly rate. My mother also did say she felt pressured into signing and giving the ok to go ahead with having the water heater installed. We did call Plumbing Masters to get more information on the job and they replied back saying they actually gave my mother a $600.00 discount on the job because the mobile home actually required a special type of water heater and the job should have cost $3000.00!!!! Be very careful when dealing with this company and hold on to your purse!!!
