Harbourfront seems to be on the roll with one spot after another setting shop here. The old Service Canada! office has been replaced by a huge cafe from the renowned coffee house Lavazza. I like some of their espresso offering for home so was looking forward to this place when I saw the signs plastered over the new space.
First the space it is big and if one includes the outdoor seating I don't think there is a bigger cafe I have seen in Toronto in terms of seating. I think they will get a bit of traffic when the construction on the harborfront finishes as they are geared towards. There is plenty of staff and I counted 6 people behind the counter!
Plenty of desserts options, though I didn't try any so will update the review once I have tried them.
I ordered a Grande cappuccino and it is humongous for capp.
Here is the verdict
Espresso: Mild
Crema': Average
Milk: Frothed at decent level.
Latte art is decent.
I didn't enjoy the drink much as it was too mellow for my taste and I think I will stick to the small size next time so hopefully I will have stronger drink or I suggest you ask for another shot of espresso for larger drinks.
2.5 stars for what I had.
